At the top of Coriant is the new CEO Shaygan Kheradpir. Being in the industry and recognized as a business and technology leader for over 28 years, Kheradpir has experience across the technology, financial services, and telecom industries. His career started with the GTE Corporation where he was appointed Verizon’s EVP & Chief Information Officer. From there, he helped work and create FiOS, which is one of the largest infrastructure programs in the United States.
In his time in the industry, Shaygan Kheradpir held a leadership role in the creation of Barclay’s TRANSFORM program. This program was a historical transformation of the bank for the 21st century and covered 50 countries and 150 thousand employees, which was something not heard of at that time. Moving on from there, he became the CEO of Juniper Networks and then his position at Coriant. He now holds a PH.D., master’s, and bachelor’s in engineering from Cornell University, as well as multiple patents.
The company has been at the forefront of the telecommunications world and the network industry.
