Recently, Securus Technologies, a standout provider of criminal justice technology solutions, announced that they will begin implementing its Inmate Forms and Grievance applications on ConnectUs. The move will help customers time and money. Securus Vice President Russell Roberts of Marketing and Strategy notes that the Inmate Forms and Grievance application on ConnectUs is an example of Securus modernizing to stay up to date with the latest most effective technologies.
Normally, facilities use paper forms to complete requests for inmates, such as grievances, acceptance forms, and sign up forms. Correctional officers spend time collecting, routing, and copying forms. Thanks to this new application, forms will be available for any type of request. The custom forms will be easily created and made available to inmates. Changing a form will only take a few minutes and there is no printing required. The ConnectUs Inmate Forms transform manual paper processes to unique digital automation. This saves corrections staff members time and allows them to focus on safety and security. Inmates also have self-service access to forms and the ability to view forms and grievances, giving inmates the chance to accept or appeal. Thousands of dollars have been saved on paper costs.
ConnectUs gives facilities full control over all inmate content. ConnectUs is using innovation to modernize the experience for those who are incarcerated. Other features of the platform include an application display according to the day, time, and location. ConnectUs also provides an inmate bulletin board allowing staff to get in contact with inmates. The platform is also available in different languages. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Securus Technologies serves over 3,000 agencies and over 1,000,000 inmates throughout North America.
